Errol Spence has become the new IBF walterweight champion after getting the better of home favourite Kell Brook at the Bramall Lane stadium in Sheffield. Spence stopped Brook in 12 round after pretty much dominating the second half of the fight and with that captured his very first world title.
Brook started the fight stronger but faded midway through the fight and from than on it was Errol Spence who dominated the later rounds. Brook was clearly hurt in round 10 and Errol Spence dropped him in round 10 where it looked like Brook won’t be able to continue after his eye was swollen and he did not have enough in the tank. But he made an effort to take the fight to final round where Spence unleashed a flurry punches forcing Brook to throw in the towel.
