Nico Rosberg has strolled to victory in the Beglium Grand Prix having started from the pole position. But it won’t be as sweater as he would have hoped because Lewis Hamilton somehow managed to finish third on the podium having started at the back of the grid. Daniel Ricciardo finished runnersup having started 5th on the grid.
Nico Rosberg wins the Belgian Grand Prix! There was alot expected from the Belgian grand prix which took place after a short summer break and it lived up to the hype. Rosberg who started in pole position put in a great performance to win the race but the weekend belonged to Lewis Hamilton who started at the back of the grid but some how found himself third on the podium.
Championship Standings: This is how the drivers standings looks like after the first 13 races of the season. Lewis Hamilton still leads the championship by 9 points having finished third in Belgium.
Nico Rosberg will be frustrated as he won the race but failed to overcome Hamilton’s lead..
Hamilton recent form had pretty much put the title race in his hands now but after the Belgium grand prix Nico Rosberg can take heart as the lead is now just 9 points and there is no margin of error for either driver..

It was more a less very predicted race as it unfolded, Mercedes continue their dominance and only their mistakes are costing them every now and than while Ferrari and Red Bull looks to be on par as far as performance are concerned this season.
Formula 1 season continue with Italian Grand Prix on the weekend of 02-04 September 2016. It will be the last European grand prix this season as we move to Asia pecific and couple of grand prixs in America at the end of October. 2016 season promises to be one of the best in the recent years as both Ferrari, McLaren has made some great adjustments to keep the pace with Mercedes for the title race. Lewis Hamilton will start the defense of his F1 title in the opening grand prix in Australia on 20th March 2016. All car manufacturers has released the designs of their new cars and pre-season testing will take place in Barcelona in the last week of February 2016.
