We can expect number of changes for Barcelona in the game against Las Palmas as they played in the midweek against Sporting Gijon and will be taking on Arsenal on Tuesday, 23 February. Barcelona already build up a 6 points lead with only 14 games remaining in the La Liga season. Since Atletico are playing away against Villarreal and Real Madrid take on Malaga away, Barcelona can really put the title challenge to bed with a win over Las Palmas.

FC Barcelona visited Canary Island to take on Las Palmas in the La Liga game on Sunday, 20th February and it turned out to be an exciting game with Barcelona taking the lead early through Luis Suarez but Willian scored equalizer straight away to make things interesting. A goal mouth scramble in Las Palmas half left Neymar to poke home from close range as Barcelona took 2-1 lead going into the break.
Luis Enrique is likely to rest one or two of the the record-breaking attacking trio with one eye on the Champions League game against Arsenal in midweek. Barcelona do have selection worry in the midfield where Sergio Busquest is suspended which means Arda Turan, Segi Roberto and Rakitic might start with Iniesta rested. Munir El Haddadi might also start upfront.
Las Palmas has lost four of their last 5 games and they are currently sitting 18th 1 point behind Espanyol in the relegation battle. In the earlier fixture between the two sides at Camp Nou, Barcelona ran out 2-1 winners when a brace from Luis Suarez ended Las Palmas resilience.
Possible Starting Lineups: Barcelona might start with Javier Mescherano in the defensive midfield role while Iniesta or Turan to play in central roles alonside Roberto. This is how I expect both teams to lineup
Can’t see Las Palmas getting anything out of this game even if two of the front trio are rested. Barcelona can use this game to put massive pressure on Madrid clubs in the title race and winning this match give them 9 points lead at the top which will allow Luis Enrique enough cushion at the top of the table to rotate players freely when Champions League and Cop Del Rey finals come around.
