Antonio Conte’s Chelsea side hosted Swansea City in the Premier League game on Saturday hoping to extend their lead at top of the table. They started stronger and took the lead in just 19th minute of the game when Cesc Fabregas produced a neat finish inside the box to make it 1-0 for Chelsea. At that point it looked like Chelsea will walk away with three points but credit to Swansea who dig deep and got themselves back on level terms at the stroke of halftime when Fernando Llorente scored to make it 1-1. Pedro and Costa scored in second half to secure important three points.

Chelsea announced the appointment of Antonio Conte as their new manager for the start of 2016-17 season and he will have to do alot of work to make Chelsea a top 4 team again. Guus Hiddink who took over Jose Mourinho as interim manager back in december is still unbeaten in the league and will be hoping Chelsea’s good run of form continue as they climbed all the way from 16th place to 10th under Hiddink and they can actually go 7th by the end of the weekend.

Team News: Gary Cahill is a doubt ahead of Saturday’s clash while Hazard, Matic, Terry, Loic Remy and Kurt Zouma are all ruled out due to injury or fitness concerns. Kennedy and Miazga are expected to start in back four Traore to spearhead the attack with Costa suspended. Pedro, Willian, Oscar to play in attacking roles ahead of Fabregas and Mikel.
Swansea City on the other hand will be hoping Gylfi Sigurdsson continue his rich goal scoring form having scored three in last 4 matches. He will start alongside Routledge and Barrow behind Paloschi playing upfront.
Match Predictions: Chelsea will start with several youngsters upfront but playing at home without any pressure they should have enough quality to get the better of Swansea. I am going with another high scoring game between the two but Chelsea to take all three points
