Juventus continue their superb record breaking winning run as they defeated Napoli to go top of the table for the first time this season. Simone Zaza came on as a sun to score the only goal of the game which takes Juventus 1 point above Napoli in the first place with 13 games to play.
This was the 15th straight win for Juventus in the league which takes them top of the table. After a slow start to the season Juventus picked up pace in October and now are on the verge of history having won 15 games in a row.
Napoli who lead the league for last few weeks will feel title is slipping away from there hands as it does not look like Juventus are going to lose games anytime soon.
Juventus vs Napoli will be the massive game not only in Italy but whole europe this weekend, it is widely hailed as the title decider with just 13 more matchweeks to come. Juventus playing at home will be slightly favorite and will be confident after their impressive 14 games winning streak in the league which started back in October and they are still going strong and within touching distance of going back on top of the league.
Napoli has been sensational this season under manager Maurizio Sarri who has developed a free flowing system with compact defense. Napoli has scored the most number of goals in the league (53) and only juventus has conceded less than what Napoli has let in so far (19).
Team News & Lineups: Juventus lost Martin Caceres for rest of the season after injury while Patrice Evra might also miss the game which means Alex Sandro and Stephan Lichsteiner are expected to start but the major headech for Allegri is the fact that captain Georgio Chiellini is ruled out after suffering torn muscle. Zaza will return from suspension but likely to be on the bench with Morata and Dybala starting upfront.
Napoli dont have any major injury concern going into Juventus clash and we can expect Higuain, Insigne and Callejon to start upfron with Hamsik, Valdifiori and Allan playing in central midfield roles. This is how I expect both teams to lineup on Saturday.
Predictions: Juventus 14 game winning streak has brought them right back into the title race and actually put them into a great position going into the business end of the season. Although Juventus are struggling to break down teams at home with only 18 of 45 goals scored at home. Napoli on the other hand has won all of their last 4 away games and currently on a superb run of form with 9 wins of last 10 matches. This set up a superb encounter for Saturday where I am going with Napoli to break Juventus winning streak and put some daylight in the title race.
