Jose Mourinho Post Match Interview:
Hull City were everybody’s favourite to get relegated before the start of the season but two wins in first two games has given them a start they can build on. Realistically, all they need is 11 more wins of the remaining 36 fixtures to pretty much ensure their safety. United on the other hand has looked great under Jose Mourinho and new signings, Ibrahimovic, Bailly and Pogba are settling in rather well alongside Fellaini and Mata who are playing some quality football and look set to stay with United.
This is a massive game for Manchester United as they can put the pressure on Manchester City who will be playing on Sunday against West Ham a potential banana skin for Pep Guardiola’s men. After this weekend’s fixtures we will have international break and straight after that United face City. Which makes Hull City game a very vital match for Mourinho.
Team News & Lineups: Mourinho has persisted with Juan Mata in the starting lineup and the little spaniard has been superb so far alongside another United outcast Fellaini who has played a key role in United’s three wins so far. This is how I expect both teams to lineup on Saturday and we might see a few changes in United lineup.
Match Predictions: Hull City with all their problems on and off the field has won the opening three competitive games of the season which has surprised even the hardcore Hull fans. Can they continue their form they are in ? well they face their difficult test so far when United visit KC Stadium on Saturday. Hull will put up a fight but I expect United’s quality to prevail in the end. I am going with a 2-1 win for United.
