Marquez became the youngest ever rider to win three premier class MotoGP world titles and it was his third at the tender age of just 23. Rossi and Lorenzo will be disappointed with failing to finish the race but regardless of their results, Marquez was immense this season as he showed maturity to ride through the difficult times and not always rush for win. Most podium finishes represent his change of attitude this season and it will be hard get the better of his next season as well.
Valentino Rossi was in the title race for most part in 2016 but Marc Marquez was in absolute superb form and managed to get the better of Rossi by 49 points in the end. This year we can expect another close season and with number of rider and team changes we might also have different winners of grand prixs just like last season where run of 8 different winners and 8 races was a new record.
