Premier League club Sunderland has signed a lucarative shirt sponsorship deal with foreign betting company called “Dafabet” and the deal was announced on Monday, 01 June 2015. Dafabet will take over “Bidvest” as the new primary shirt sponsor for the black cats starting from 2015-16 season and the new contract will last atleast 2 years with option to extend into third year. Although the financial side of the deal is not officially disclosed but according to british media the deal will get Sunderland and handsom £6 million a year.
Sunderland’s previous contract was with Bidwest signed at the start of 2014 season but the deal lasted only 1 year and the contract was terminated with mutual understanding. Here are the details of new Sunderland-Dafabet deal details.

Dafabet previously had 2 years deal with Aston Villa where they splashed out £5 million a year. Dafabet also recently announced shirt deal with Blackburn Rovers which will last 3 years. Dafabet is a betting company based in Philippines and they have been actively perusing english clubs sponsorship in the last 3 years.
