Canelo Alvarez defeated Liam Smith with a knockout in round 9 to wrap up pretty much a one sided affair. Canelo Alvarez won almost every round of the fight till he drops Smith for good in round 9 to win WBO World Super middleweight title.
Canelo Always looked in control and although Liam Smith survived as much as he did he was no match for sheer power and quality of Canelo Alvarez. When the fight was made it was not taken very well by boxing fans and speaking after the fight, Canelo explained they offered $10 million to Golovkin to setup a fight between the two next and they are waiting for reply.
Golovkin-Canelo is biggest fight available for both parties and probably the biggest fight which can be made at this moment of time. Its not up there with Mayweather-Pacquioa but the most anticipated in all division as we speak.
