Danny Garcia will headline “Premier Boxing Champions” FoxSports fight card on Saturday, 23 January 2015 in Staples Center in Los Angeles. The fight has been confirmed and it will be the first time highly successful “PBC” will be aired on Fox network.
Danny Garcia has agreed to fight Robert Guerrero as part of PBC “Premier Boxing Champions” headlining the 23 January 2016 fight card which will be televised on Fox. The venue has been confirmed as Staples Center in Los Angeles and number of undercard fights will also be announced in couple of weeks time. Its a good fight on paper but Danny Garcia is much better boxer than Guerrero has has had his chances in big fights but blew it. However We can safely assume war of words between Garcia’s father Angel Garcia and Gerrero father Ruben making the build up pretty spicy.

Danny Garcia comes into this fight on the back of an ninth round win over Paulie Malignaggi back in early 2015 and he will bring very unbeaten record to the fight with (31-0 including 18 knockouts). Garcia has fought some quality boxers and some pretty average over the last 4 years. The wins against Amir Khan, Lucas Mattysse and Lamont Peterson were pretty impressive but his CV also include some controversial decisions for example against Herrera where many believed he was gifted the decision.
Robert Guerrero who was widerly regarded as next big thing like 6-7 years ago never lived up to the hype when he got his chance in bigger fights. Still he comes with a pretty solid record of (33-3-1 and 18 KnockOuts). He is taller and maybe slightly bigger than Garcia but he don’t seem to pack power in his punches. His style will suite Garcia and I expect Danny Garcia to get a rather easy decision.
