Both fighters come with almost identical records but Degale has slight age advantage over Badou Jack who has take his career to next level in last couple of years. Since his defeat against Derek Edwards back early 2014, Badou Jack has won 4 of the last 5 fights. His most recent outing was against Lucian Bute and with the draw he was managed to hang on to his WBC belt.

As the record shows this is a very competitive fight and interestingly Badou Jack is slightly favourite as far as the weekend odds are concerned. Degale will be hoping to improve on his recent showings
James Degale on the other hand has turned a corner in his career after that George Groves defeat back in 2011 and he is on a 13 fight winning streak including couple of quality fights against Andre Dirrel and Lucian Bute. Degale is hoping to unify the division and setup domestic fights against the likes of Callum Smith or George Groves late in the year. But before that he has to get past a very talented Badou Jack who is not promoted by Floyd Mayweather.
