Tony Bellew defeated BJ Flores in just third round to defend his WBC Cruiserweight title. It was a very underwhelming performance by the challenge Flores who got knocked down three times in round two before Bellew finished the job in third round.
BJ Flores was never in the fight as soon as the first round bell ringed, Bellew was too big, too powerful and skilled as he steamrolled Flores and immediately after referee stopped the fight Bellew climbed over the ropes to confront potential challenger David Haye who was part of the media ringside. Its all cracking up as we speak and we might have a all british affair between Tony Bellew and David Haye earlier next year.

Its all setup for a decent night of boxing in Liverpool where Bellew is over-whelming favourite to win his fight against 37 year old veteran BJ Flores (32-2-1) who has clearly past his best if we look at his recent fights. Although he has been winning consistantly over the past few years but the level of competition has been below par and only decent fighter he share the ring in last two years was Beibut Shumenov who defeated Flores with a unanimous decision.
The fight will be live on SkySports 2 at 6pm uk time on Saturday, 15th October and if you don’t have access to live action, you can always tune in here for live links and full fight replay video afterwards.
