Indian Premier League 2016 auction will take place on Saturday, 06 February 2016 Bangalore and the Auction will be broadcasted live on TV by “Sony Six” in India while Star Sports will have official live stream on their website/youtube channel and mobile app.
Sony Six has been IPL official broadcasting channel in India since 2008 when they bought the rights for next 10 years costing around US$1 billion. They will continue to broadcast live action of Indian Premier League till 2018 season at least. While StarSports has the official live rights for internet & mobile streaming in the india.

Two new teams Pune & Rajkot has been included for the next two seasons after Chennai and Rajasthan were suspended. Every team has the budget of Rs. 66 crores to retain and buy players. After the IPL trading window and IPL draft this is what the teams remaining budget for IPL auction 2016.

Following figures shows how much budget every team has going into the massive auction, every team has the budget equal budget of Rs 66 crore but the salary of retained players is deducted from that budget which leaves team with following budgets going into the auction.
