Kolkata Knight Riders 2015 Players List & Budget – Rs. 13 crore

15 players has been released while one was traded in duing the IPL trade window in november 2014 which leaves the team with budget of Rs 13 crores. Some of the big performers from last season has been retained with Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa getting another chance of showcasing their talent. It will be interesting to see whether Sunil Narine is able to bowl in IPL as his action has been deemed suspected and he also withdrew from World Cup squad. Kolkata Knight Riders has the glitz and glamour of bollywood attach to the team with king of bollywood Shahrukh Khan as the owner of the franchise there is always spotlight on the team in every edition of Indian Premier League. First 2-3 seasons they under performed massively but in the last 3 seasons they won the IPL title twice back in 2012 and in 2014. Gautam Ghambir will again lead the team and they did not make significant changes from the IPL winning squad of 2014. Only three players were released and one was traded in (Piyush Chawla). Kolkata Knight Riders will again go into the IPL season 2015 as one of the hot favourites.

3 players has been release with big name Jacques Kallis ending his IPL playing career but will remain with the team as a mentor and might take some coaching role in upcoming season. Kalis was bought by Kolkata back in 2011 auction and played a massive rolse since helping team as title winners twice and consistent contenders. Here is the list of released players from the team.
