Pakistan has never made it to the finals of Champions Trophy and looking at their current team and some other opponents its hard to see them even qualifying for semifinals let alone reaching or winning this tournament. However they do have unpredictability attach to their performances and on their day they can surprise anyone. On paper India are much stronger unit at the moment and Pakistan will have to play some of their best cricket to get the better of India in match where winner can set their sights on semifinal needing one win of the two remaining Group B games.
India were victorious last time these two meet in a major tournament back in 2016 ICC T20 world cup and also in the 2015 ICC cricket world Cup. Pakistan need to up their game specially in major tournaments and not crumble under pressure which they usually do when it comes to games against India in big ICC events.
