FIFA has announced the deadline day to announce 23-man squads which will be exactly 1 month before the first game begins. All 32 teams have to submit their final 23-man squad by 13 May 2018 which will include atleast 3 goalkeepers and 20 outfield players. FIFA has also announced the limit of people for respective benches which is 8 officials and 12 substitutes.

36-Man Match Official List Announced By FIFA:
FIFA has already announced the 36 man list of referees and assistant referees for the 2018 FIFA World Cup taking place in Russia. FIFA has also announced that they will be using video technology in the World Cup and list of Video Assistant Referees (VAR’s) will be announced in March 2017 after the approval from IFAB.

On Friday, 01 December 2017 the official draw ceremony for the 2018 world cup group stage took place and the 8 groups were drawn with four teams each.
