Premier League spent around £800million in player transfers in 2013-14 seasons which is by far the biggest amount spent in the history of premier league. But there is another £115 million spent on agents (middleman) fees by 20 premier league clubs. Chelsea spending the most for agents fees which is around £16,7m during the last season.
So we take a look at the figures released by Premier League of agents fees spent by all premier league teams. Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Tottenham all spent more than 10 million while Burnley spent the least just £711,024.

Jorge Mendes is one of the most successful agents in recent football history and according to statistics he has helped clubs with transfer of over $1billion in last 10 years. Some big names like Ronaldo and even Jose Mourinho use his services. He has earned around $100 million in agents commission.
Below is the table which shows how all 20 premier league clubs spent big on agents fees during october 2013 to September 2014. These figures are official from FA Premier League (not some made up thingy) its the real deal. The table ofcourse shows Chelsea has spent the most money but they might want to argue that this 16 million was worth spending as they managed to buy players like Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas at good prices.
