Italian Serie A 2017-18 season fixtures has been released and below are the official match day calendar featuring 38 match days. We will be placing the full fixture list here as soon as we are able to compile them in fixture format. Stay Tuned!




















The 2017-18 season will begin earlier than usual dates on the weekend of 11-12 August 2017 while it will finish earlier as well due to FIFA World Cup taking place in the summer of 2018. Italian FA also announced number of changes on the weekend fixture spread as matches will be spread across Friday to Monday. There will be atleast three matches on Sunday at 15:00 CET While Saturday will get prime time slot of 12:30 CET instead of Sunday.

Once the Serie A fixtures are announced on Friday, 21 July 2017 we will change this page into full fledged fixture format with entire season fixture listed here week by week. A pdf file will also be available couple of hours after the fixtures are announced on Friday, 21 July 2017. Here are some of the dates you might want to keep note of for the 2017-18 Italian league and cup season.

Midweeks Matches: 5 matchdays set to be played in midweek (dates will be announced later
Weekend Fixture Spread Matches will be spread across Friday to Monday. Atleast 1 match starting on Saturday at 12:30 CET. Atleast 3 15:00 CET Sunday kickoffs. Regular games cane be played on Friday and Monday for teams playing in European competitions.
Weekly Breaks 6 weeks (4 weeks of international breaks and 2 week of Christmas break)

Last season 2016-17, Italian Serie A started 1 week before the usual end of August date due to Euro 2016 taking place this summer and Italia FA decided to end the season earlier to make sure Italian national team get enough time to prepare for the big event. This season however since there are no international events in 2017, Serie A season will start on its usual dates of last weekend in August 2016 and will be finishing on Sunday, 21 May 2017.

  3. This is really unbelievable. Fixtures originally planned to be released on 21st and then simply delayed to the 26th!
    This is supposed to be one of the biggest, professional competitions in Europe. There are TV- companies who have to plan; there are million dollar companies like AC Milan, Juventus who have to plan. Unbelievable. And that for a competition that takes place every year. What could have been done by a the end of last competition, no, just 3 weeks ahead of starting date the well paid, lazy Italian officials wake up andl start doing something.
    Now I understand why Italian economics is going so well.

    • Completely agree. How hard is it to develop a 38 game schedule. I’ve been trying to book my flight to Italy the past few months to see a game or two. Tickets to Italy would have been way cheaper a few months ago. This really hurts the fans more than they realize.

      • We are coming from New Zealand. I have been waiting for ages to see how the trip will work. I almost gave up on Italy, easier to go elsewhere

      • Do you know how/when to buy tickets on general sale? I haven’t been to a Serie A game before but would love to go to Juve vs Roma on 23rd December. I’m clueless though
