Welsh club Cardiff City were relegated from premier league after just one season in english top flight and now they are stuggling in championship, currently sitting 12th on the table with 31 points having played 24 games. They would need to turn things around in second half of the season to get into promotion scene at the end of the season. But Cardiff City has already announced plans of switching back to their traditional blue colour and they will take the field in very next game on 12 January 2015 in new blue home kit.
Back in 2012 Cardiff City were rebradned and they used red as the new home kit colour to appeal international interest but the move did not go down well with the fans. But chairman Vincent Tan has approved return to blue kit after consulting with fans and supporters.
