Euro 2016 Draw Confirmed UEFA European championship 2016 draw has been confirmed with 6 groups of 4 teams each. England, Wales are placed in the same group B while France has Romania, Albania and Switzerland in group a. Defending European champions Spain has Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia in the group D.
On Saturday, 12 December 2015 the draw for European championship 2016 in France was completed and this is how the 6 groups are drawn for the group stages starting on 10th June 2016.
Group A: France, Romania, Albania, Switzerland
Group B: England, Russia, Wales, Slovakia
Group C: Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Northern Ireland
Group D: Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Croatia
Group E: Belgium, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Sweden
Group F: Portugal, Iceland, Austria, Hungary

Draw Procedure: So 24 teams are divided into 4 seeding pots. France, Spain, England, Portugal, Germany and Belgium are in Pot 1, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia and Ukraine are in Pot 2. Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary are in pot 3 while Turkey, Republic of Ireland, Iceland, Wales, Albania and Northern Ireland makes the pot 4.
6 groups will be formed of containing four teams each. (Group A to F). So pot 1 team can draw in the same group with other Pot 1 teams. Same goes for all pots. So Every group formed with have 1 team from each seeding pot.
Once we have our all 6 groups we can easily make out the group stage schedule. Where the match schedule has already been announced according to group places.
UEFA Euro 2016 gets underway on 10th June 2015 with the opening game between France and team drawn first in Group A. The schedule and dates for French matches has already been announced.
