Konami has confirmed that they has signed official License deal for UEFA Euro 2016 and they will be producing a dedicated Euro 2016 game of which details will be announced in december 2015. PES 2016 will not have UEFA Euro 2016 official license but Konami might produced a paid DLS content (highly unlikely) or they will go for a new game all together which will contain all 24 qualifed teams plus all the teams who participated in the UEFA Euro qualifiers.

Konami acquired official license of UEFA Euro 2016 and all European national teams
Konami already has official license of UEFA Champions League as well as UEFA Europa League and the new deal with UEFA extended their partnership to national teams as well. Marketing Director of UEFA Guy-Laurent Epstein announced the new deal with Konami and stated that “They are extremely happy with what Konami has accomplished as the official licensing partner of UEFA and they are looking forward to new extension of PES series to be created specificly for Euro 2016.”
What To Be Included In Euro 2016 Game ?
Konami are most likely to produce a new game or a slight possibility is a paid DLC for the PES 2016. But from what we have heard so far UEFA wants Konami to produced a full licensed game for only Euro 2016. Here is what to be included in the game.
- 53 full licensed European national teams.
- official Qualifiers (Road to Euro 2016)
- UEFA Euro 2016 24 team competition.
Details regarding the new game will be announced in december 2015 once the UEFA Euro 2016 group draw has been made. Although It is confirmed that Euro 2016 license won’t be featured in upcoming PES 2016 which is set to be released in September.
