PES 2016 Release Date Confirmed 15th September 2015

Konami has officially confirmed the PES 2016 game Release date which is 15th september 2015 in north america to be released on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, PlayStation®3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. While European countries will get the game available in stores on 17th september and 18th September in United Kingdom.

Konami has officially confirmed 2016 version of the game and the first details has been made public alongside the officiall release date which is 15th September in north america. (one week ahead of FIFA 16).

1. North America – 15th September
2. European Countries: 17th September
3. United Kingdom & Worldwide: 18th September

A few details has been announced one of which is “Jim Beglin” confirming on twitter that he will be doing commentary for the PES 2016 along with unnamed partner. So what about the 2016 PES release date ? In 2013 the game was released on 20th September a week ahead of FIFA release. But in 2014 konami pushed the release date to second week of November.

PES 2016 Expected Release Date:

Historically Konami has always released the game within a week (before or after) of FIFA’s release but last year konami pushed the release date to 11 November more than month and half later than FIFAs release. In hope of to get away from the competition but that did not go very well in terms of sales and I full expect PES to get their release date closer to FIFA or maybe even a week before. Here are the last 4 game release dates:

• PES 2012 – 27 September 2011 (USA), 14 October (Europe)
• PES 2013 – 20 September 2012 (Europe), 25 September (USA)
• PES 2014 – 20 September 2013 (UK), 24 September (USA)
• PES 2015 – 11 November 2014 (USA) & 13 November (Europe)

So Konamis favorite dates has been last couple of weeks in september and I am fairly sure PES 2015’s late release was just a one off and this year konami will return to usual late september date and since konami’s PES team has moved their operation offices to UK we can expect game to be out first in UK and europe and than north america.

PES 2016 Demo Release Date:

We can safely assume that konami will release demo ahead of the official release of the full game and usually they release the demo two weeks ahead of the schedule release of the game. So if game were to release in late september you can expect the demo to be made available on both next gen and old gen consoles.

Until that you can read our PES 2015 Wish-list and the ideas which can improve the game and boy konami needs to come up with something special to come on top of FIFA. I hope they do because healthy competition between these two franchises is very important for the growth of football games.
