Arsenal are set to take on Manchester City in the premier league game on Thursday night, 01 March 2018 at the Emirates Stadium. Its a huge game for both sides, a win for City and they can pretty much put any title race to bed while Arsenal must win this to recover from that horrible 3-0 defeat in the EFL Cup final in the hands of City and keep fans backlash at the bay. The game will kickoff at around 19:45 uk time and we will have full math highlights right here on this page.

Arsenal have not been at their best in the league this season but they have been getting results in the cup games without much of a trouble so far. League Cup see them in the final of fourth domestic competition in last 5 years and they have won the last three finals they have been involved in at Wembley. City will be hoping to turn their dominant league form into trophies and this is their chance to claim what might be first of many in next couple of years.
City saw off their Champions League away tie against Basel with rather ease and they are well clear at the top of the table in premier league so we expect Guardiola to start with a full strength side in the league cup final.
Manchester City 1-0 Arsenal – November 2017
[ Premier League 2017-18 Match ]
19′ 1 – 0 Kevin de Bruyne put Manchester City in lead in just 19th minute of the game after dominating from the start of the game.
50′ 2 – 0 Sergio Aguero pretty much settled the result scoring City’s second just after the halftime break.
Arsenal are set to start with Aubameyang upfront with Ramsey and Ozil playing in attacking roles while Wenger is likely to pack the midfield with Elneny, Wilshere and Xhaka. Bellerin, Koscielny, Mustafi and Monreal to make the back four while Ospina will start in goal.
Manchester City on the other hand will start with their preferred 4-1-4-1 formation where Aguero to start upfront while Sane, David Silva, De Bruyne and Sterling to start in attacking roles ahead of Fernandinho.
This is how I expect both teams to lineup on Sunday evening.
Match Predictions: Manchester City are a total different beast this season and although they suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat in the hands of Wigan in FA Cup, that will likely make them even more difficult to beat in the remainder of the season. Arsenal do have good memories of playing at Wembley in recent years but I can’t see them beating City in this one on Sunday. I am going with a comfortable 3-1 win for City.
