Manchester City took on german side Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday night in what will be a very crucial game at the Borussia-Park stadium. City needed atleast a draw to keep themselves on track for qualification to knockout stages but they had to dealt with early blow when Raffael scored in just 23rd minute to put M’Gladbach in lead. However City revived and scored the equalizer just before the break to make it 1-1 on the night.

[ UEFA Champions League 2016-17 Match ]
23′ 1 – 0 Raffael gave deserving lead to german side in just 23rd minute and at that point it looked like Gladbach will cause an upset.
45′ 1 – 1 David Silva however brough City back into the game on the stroke of halftime and City had a sigh of relief.
Both of these sides meet last year in the group stage as well when Man City had to rely on injury time penalty to win the game in Germany while they produced absolute superb performance to beat Gladbach at Etihad stadium 4-1. Pepe Guardiola has taken over as City manager and already looked to have put his authority on the team having gone on a winning streak in all competitive since taking over as manager.
Guardiola is expected to make a few changes ahead of the big game with Gundogan and Sergio Aguero set to start while rest of the team should be same which beat United last weekend. Claudio Bravo will be hoping for a better outing in City colours than his debut while Zabaleta, Stones, Otamendi and Gael Clichy should keep their places in back four.
This is how I expect both teams to lineup on Tuesday night.
Match Predictions: Hard to see any other result than a comfortable City win at Etihad Stadium where Guardiola has put so much belief only after few games into the season. Moenchengladbach are stronger this season compared to last year but with Aguero starting upfront, City should have enough about them to get a all three points.
Manchester City hosted MoenchenGladbach on wednesday night after their game was postponed a day before due to thunder storms. The delay seems to have work in City favour as they started stronger against a tired looking Gladbach side scoring inside first 10 minutes through Sergio Aguero. City scored against at the half hour mark when penalty was awarded and Aguero stepped up to score his and City’s second of the night.
