Adrien Rabiot had put PSG in control of the tie with his early strike at Stamford Bridge but Diego Costa scored a suberb goal when he turned Thiago Silva inside out to poke home from the edge of the box.
Chelsea still needed at least a goal to take the tie to extra time while all PSG needed after the break was to hold on to 1-1 to qualify for the quarter finals. Zlatain Ibrahimovic scored in second half to put PSG 2-1 up and kill the game off.
Paris Saint Germain knocked out Chelsea and qualify for the quarterfinals of 2016 Champions League. Adrien Rabiot scored for PSG but soon after Chelsea equalized through Diego Costa to make things interesting. Chelsea needed atleast 1 more goal to get back into the game tie as both teams went into the break with score tied at 1-1. Angel Di Maria found Ibrahimovic with inch perfect cross and he poked home from close range to put PSG 2-1 up and pretty much kill the tie of with 20 minutes still to play.

Match Highlights (English, 10 minutes)
Chelsea are much stronger side in 2016 as they have only lost 1 game since Guus Hiddink took over back in December, that defeat was 2-1 away loss against PSG. Now Chelsea has a chance to over turn the deficit when they take on PSG at Stamford Bridge but they will have to do without John Terry who is suspended for the game.
Paris Saint Germain vs Chelsea Team News: Chelsea has some massive injury worries in defense with John Terry doubtful after his muscular injury against Newcastle and he will go through scans on monday to see whether he will travel with the squad or not. Kurt Zouma is already ruled out for rest of the season which means Gary Cahill and Ivanovic to start in central defense while Azpilicueta and Baba Rahman to play as full backs. Eden Hazard should keep his place in the side alongside Willian and Fabregas while Matic and Mikel to play as holding midfielders.
PSG on the other hand confirmed that Marco Verrati and Javier Pastore will miss tuesday’s clash while full back Serge Aurier has been suspended by the club controvertial comments over manager. This is how I expect both teams to lineup on Tuesday night.
Match Predictions: Its hard to seperate these two sides looking at the past two season results. Although Paris Saint Germain has been improving and will be slightly favourite if they can get a decent result at home in first leg. Chelsea need to keep themselves in the game in Paris and I fully expect Hiddink to deploy a 5 man midfield including Mikel, Matic, Fabregas Willian and Hazard to nullify PSG attack. I am going with a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
First Leg Review: Paris Saint Germain absolute hammered Chelsea in the opening exchanges and dominated the possession but failed to take their chances. Totally against the run of the play Costa missed a point blank header chance. PSG however took the lead when Ibrahimovic’s deflected freekick found its way into chelsea net but the lead was short lived as Chelsea scored just before the break with Mikel scored from a corner kick routine. Cavani came on as a sub to score the winning goal.
