Liverpool have spend massive amount of money in the last couple of years bringing in the likes of Salah, Oxlaid-Chamberlain, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Alisson Becker which put extra pressure on the club and specially manager Jurgen Klopp to finally deliver the league title after more than 30 years. Liverpool can not longer use the excuse of not spending enough money in the market as they they have done so far this season and the last.
Anything but a league title this season will deem a failure and raise big question marks over Klopp’s ability to take Liverpool forward. But all things considered, they are in a great position to improve on last season’s performance as they seem to have fixed most of the issues in defense and goal keeping departments.
