Manchester City took on Chelsea in what was billed as showdown of potential winners at Etihad Stadium this sunday afternoon. City started with Sergio Aguero and he was a constant trouble for Chelsea back line. He produced a few nice 1st touch shots which lead to some quality saves from Asmir Begovic. But it was long before City’s constant pressure paid off when Aguero after a nice one-two with Yaya on the edge of the box scored a neat finish.

Manchester City started their campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over West Brom while Chelsea failed to take all three points at home against Swansea when they drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge. Thibaut Courtois will be suspended after taking red card which means Asmir Begovic to start in goal. Mourinho is sweating over the fitness of Diego Costa and Oscar going into the match but they are likely to start while Falcao will get place on the bench.
This is the first big game in premier league between the so called “top 4” teams and two of the favourites to win the premier league this season. So a win in his game will boost teams confidence and put some authority so early in the league.
