Real Madrid went top of the Spanish La Liga after disposing off Leganes on Sunday afternoon at Santiago Bernabue. Both teams started the game poorly with so many bad touches and passes and it took 38th minute for Real Madrid to finally break the deadlock and got themselves 1-0 up thanks to goal from Gareth Bale. Madrid made it 2-0 just before the halftime whistle and again it was Gareth Bale who scored from close range tap in to double Madrid’s lead.

Match Highlights (English)
Real Marid are still unbeaten in the league with 7 wins of the first 10 league games which put them 2 points clear at top of the table going into the weekend. A win against Leganese will stretch their lead to 5 points for atleast a few hour and Zidane’s is likely to go with a full strength side. Leganes on the other hand are no pushover who have won three of the opening 5 away games so far and interestingly enough they like playing away considering they have lost 4 home games and drawn 1 of the 5 played in their own stadium.
Team News & Lineups: Zidane is likely to revert back to his trusted 4-3-3 system after a terrible outing in midweek where Real madrid played with a 4-4-2 formation against Legia Warsaw. Bale, Ronaldo and Banzema to start upfront while Kroos, Mateo Kovacic will start in midfield alongside returning Luka Modric.
However there are selection headechs in defense with Nacho and Varane to start in central defense as both Sergio Ramos and Pepe are out injured.
This is how I expect Real Madrid to lineup on Sunday afternoon.
Match Predictions: Hard to see anything other than a convincing Real Madrid win who have not lost in over 24 competitive games under Zidane. However Leganes have been pretty solid away from home and if they can frustrate Madrid early on they can cause problems for make shift Madrid defense. I am going with a 3-1 win for Los Blancos in this one.
