We move to the 16th round of 2017 MotoGP season which takes place in Phillip Island in Australia this weekend from Friday, 20th October 2017 to Sunday, 22 October 2017. Marc Marquez will be hoping to take a step closer to his fourth world title as he leads the championship table with 244 points however only 11 points ahead of Italian Andrea Dovizioso who has 233 points in season which has produced some great results every weekend. Preview: After that incredible 2015 Australia grand prix where we had 13 changes in race leads and over 50 overtakes in what is widely regarded as one of the finest MotoGP grand prixs of recent era. But this year’s MotoGP in Australia has had a very underwhelming build compared to incredible scenario’s last season. But that does not take away the competitive nature of the sport.
There is still something to play for and bragging rights are at stake for second, third, fourth and fifth place. While Marquez will be riding without any pressure and we might see the reckless but exciting Marquez back this weekend.
