Conor McGregor will be moving upto light-weight to face Rafael dos Anjos for the UFC light-weight title fight headlining UFC 197 on Saturday, 5 March 2016. The fight was announced today and it will take place at MGM Grand, Las Vegas with promotional activities starting in couple of weeks time. Conor McGregor can become the third UFC fighter in history to win two belts in different weight divisions and only the first to hold two titles concurrently if he manages to beat Rafael dos Anjos.
Dos Anjos recently defended his title against Donald Cerrone before Christmas and this fight is widely predicted as one of the biggest in recent UFC history. McGregor vs Dos Anjos is not the only great fight in UFC 197 as Holly Holms will make her first title defense against Miesha Tate in the co-feature event of UFC 197.
